Consultation: Modifications to the RPD in order to adopt the updates of revision 7

Currently, the Canadian GHS is based on revision 5 published in 2013. Health Canada is proposing modifications to the HPR in order to adopt the updates of revision 7 published in 2017. The United States is carrying out the same exercise of updates to their system.

The changes are summarized in the tables below. As an association, we must assess the impact of its changes on our businesses by June 29, 2018.

Proposed amendments to the Hazardous Products Regulations (HPR)
